Mission

Educate Fairfax energizes the power of the community to invest in educational excellence and prepare students for the future. Our vision is that every FCPS student has a path to success.

Notes from the nonprofit

Educate Fairfax (formerly the Foundation for Fairfax County Public Schools) was established in 2010 as a partnership with FCPS and the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce. In late 2013, it became an office within Fairfax County Public Schools and is the official charitable foundation representing and supporting FCPS. In 2021, the Foundation changed its name to Educate Fairfax to better reflect its purpose to support all students in the public schools in the district. Our mission is to energize the power of the community to invest in education excellence and prepare students for the future.
