Expecting Relief

Expecting Relief provides the basic needed essentials to children residing in shelters facing homelessness as well as introducing educational and fundamental activities/programs to children residing in low income communities. Expecting Relief has successful programs such as our annual Styled for Grad services providing hair cuts and hairstyles for children residing in shelters stepping up, graduating from Kindergarten or preschool. Expecting Relief continuously accepts donations of gently used clothing and baby items in order to provide it to the children in need. Expecting latest and very successful program is our Booked It Book club an after school literacy program for children who have lower reading levels. Expecting Relief mission for the program is to engage children in reading more to enhance there reading levels in order for them to meet the DOE requirements. Expecting Relief provides fun services such as baking classes, arts and craft days, spa days, family portrait memories and much more to keep a smile in every family's heart while in return breaking the poverty cycle among children. Expecting Relief also has a mobile food pantry named On The Go Relief reducing the hunger among the most vulnerable.
