Mission

We equip Nicaraguans to reach their country for Christ through the support of Christian education, churches, and other Christian ministries. We provide nutritious, dry packaged meals to malnourished children and adults through schools, neighborhood churches, and children's programming, and free-standing ministries. We take short-term mission teams to assist with the school repairs and construction, deliver school supplies, sign up the children in our schools for sponsorship, and provide programs. Without being able to read and get a quality education, it is nearly impossible for a family to escape extreme poverty. Supporting teachers and students and providing free school supplies along with nutritious food is paramount to their success and their families' future.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Christian Education

We support Christian education in Nicaragua by providing school supplies, library books, desks, chairs, file cabinets and other materials to about 25 schools. Several schools also receive small monetary grants (through student sponsorship) to assist with paying the school's expenses. We host a 2 day teachers' conference each year, prior to the new school year, for about 120 teachers. This is an opportunity for the teachers to obtain continuing education, otherwise not available to them.
