What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Revive Retreats
Revive Retreats are retreats offered by Pink Lemonade Project to breast cancer survivors, breast cancer survivors and their spouses/partners, women living with metastatic breast cancer, and long-term breast cancer survivors. Each retreat is held at Menucha Retreat Center in Corbett, OR overlooking the Columbia Gorge and professionally facilitated by two licensed oncology social workers. These retreats provide a chance for introspection, mentorship, and support to find strength in moving forward after the impact of breast cancer.
Pink Peers Mentorship
Pink Link is made up of a group of volunteer breast cancer survivors, previvors, and women living with metastatic breast cancer. These volunteers have been trained by a licensed oncology social worker and are available to mentor other women during their breast cancer journey.
Support Groups
We offer two different monthly support groups - a support group for women with advanced or metastatic cancer and one for all women cancer survivors. These support groups give women an opportunity to talk with others who are facing similar challenges in safe, welcoming environments. Oncology social workers are present to facilitate all meetings and to answer questions about physical or emotional issues, side effects, and general coping strategies.
Pink Link
We offer two to three Pink Link events each month that provide the opportunity for those affected by cancer to meet others through a series of social and educational events. These events range in nature from crafting sessions to seminars on stress management, and hosted conversations with medical professionals.

- We ask team members to identify racial disparities in their programs and / or portfolios.
- We analyze disaggregated data and root causes of race disparities that impact the organization's programs, portfolios, and the populations served.
- We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
