Programs and results
What we aim to solve
We have identified 2 problems. These have been our focus since Covid19 changed how we interact with our clients. Originally we would go to our clients in assisted living facilities, but that is no longer an option. We have now focused on creating Memory Books and Cards and custom-made apps for caregivers along with spreading updated information about dementia and caregivers on our social feeds. The 2 problems we have are: 1. Increasing awareness about our programs. 2. Once awareness and ordering of our services increases we will need to increase donations to cover the costs.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Memory Books
Memory Books can be filled with photos of family, friends, memorable events, and significant places. We order the books and send them to the loved one free of charge.
Memory Cards
Memory Cards can be ordered online. Orders include a photo and a description. We then create the card and send to their loved one free of charge.
Custom-Built Apps
We can create custom-built web-based or mobile apps for use in the care of your loved ones with dementia and free of charge. Apps can help with medications, documenting vitals sign or daily tasks, assistance with memory, or any idea you may have.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Increase awareness about our program through outreach to assisted living facilities in our area of central Texas and through increased social media presence.
As awareness increases we will at the same time reach out to local connections about donating to us, join the Amplify Austin program, and increase requests for donations through social media.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
- A new volunteer is coming on who has contacts with local assisted living facilities.
- direct contacting of local realtors and attorneys about donations
- increase awareness in our social feeds
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Believe this was answered above with the addition of a new volunteer, direct calls to potential new donors, and increasing social media presence.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
There has been an increase in social media with the addition of Twitter and Reddit accounts. Through Twitter we have begun a working volunteer relationship with another nonprofit with a similar focus as ours. Through them we plan to increase awareness of our services using an upcoming service they will be providing.
Our new volunteer will begin her work starting December 2020.
