The Empower Program

Our pilot program addresses the vocational needs of the unemployed and/or under-employed disabled population in Stark County, OH.

This supported employment service is a paid training option, available to adults with disabilities transitioning after graduating high school into the workplace. At WLLC, trainees are introduced to a variety of vocational services such as soft skills, volunteer opportunities, time and money management, computer skills, and more —all in a cheerful, bustling retail coffee shop in the heart of North Canton.

WLLC provides community enrichment, promotes equal opportunities and focuses on decreasing dependency of public funding. Transitioning adults will have equitable access to job preparation, financial independence, transferable customer service and work-readiness skills
