Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
ChristCare Groups
Trinity offers several support groups through the ChristCare Program including:
Cancer Support: for cancer survivors to share their stories; and offer support and encouragement.
Teen Girls Support: for teen girls to discuss various social issues of concern.
Youth Group: for all teens to discuss various social issues and develop and implement community service projects.
Bible Study Groups: for adults of all ages to enhance their spiritual growth.
Blanket Workshop
The Blanket Workshop members meet weekly to sew blankets and quilts to be distributed, locally and internationally, to those in need.
Family Promise
One week each quarter, shelter and meals are provided to families who are homeless. Shelter is provided within the Trinity Lutheran Church facilities. Meals are provided by church member volunteers. Other services as family outings and tutoring is available as needed.
Flint International Friends
English language conversational groups, connections with American families, and welcome assistance is offered to international students at colleges and universities in Flint, MI.
