Moderation Management
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
In the year 2022, Moderation Management (MM) hopes to 1) add staff members to the team, 2) gain additional partners to support our growing communities, 3) provide additional resources to our members, 4) participate in research, and 5) expand awareness of MM and resources available to people looking to decrease harm caused by alcohol. Specifically, we hope to bring on an administrative assistant and a fundraising professional. With the help of an administrative assistant and fundraiser professional, we hope to apply for grants, participate in research, increase membership, and expand our programs for members. Kickstart, Dryuary, and MM in general have continued to expand over recent years and it is critical we are able to provide for those seeking support. These items will help MM to continue supporting our members and decrease the harm caused by alcohol consumption.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Moderation Management aims to decrease the harm caused by alcohol consumption. While doing so, MM hopes to provide communities with resources and support.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
In the year 2022, Moderation Management (MM) hopes to 1) add staff members to the team, 2) gain additional partners to support our growing communities, 3) provide additional resources to our members, 4) participate in research, and 5) expand awareness of MM and resources available to people looking to decrease harm caused by alcohol.
Like many non-profits, MM is in critical need of funding. The organization has had to compromise resources to maintain other aspects of the organization. In order to provide resource, options, and support to people suffering from Alcohol Use Disorder and/or people wanting to change their relationship with alcohol, we cannot skim on services and programs. Adding staff members (such as an administrative assistant and fundraising professional) will allow MM to not only maintain, but also improve the services offered to our communities.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We are the largest moderation based non-profit and partner with industry leading professionals to provide resources for people looking to change their relationship with alcohol. MM has strength in numbers, proven by the large number of volunteers that not only maintain the non-profit but also work to fulfill MM's mission every day. Most recently, MM has been able to move from face-to-face meetings to video meetings. Modern technology has allowed MM to expand internationally, supporting members in Canada, the UK, Australia, Mexico, Ireland, and more. We take pride in our volunteers, global outreach, partnerships, and work in supporting our communities.
