Programs and results
What we aim to solve
It has been over 200 years since William Carey first brought the Word of God and the Good News of salvation in Christ to the Bengali people. Yet today there is only 0.3% of the population that knows the Good News and can credibly make it known to others. There is only one full-time Christian worker per 313,000 people. And the Christian communities that exist tend to be isolated and insulated. As a result, the vast majority get no chance at all to accept the gift of salvation through Christ. We aim to make the message of the Bible much more accessible throughout the country.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Bible Studies in Bangladesh
BMW supports the Bible study network in Bangladesh run by the Bethel Church Trust, a Bangladesh government recognized entity with whom we share a Memorandum of Understanding. This support hires a director, full and part time teachers, provides study material for all the students and training opportunities for the leaders. Also covers annual visit from foreign sponsors for graduation programs. In addition there are matching funds for direct financial aid to the needy.
Materials and Leadership development
There are four years of courses. Teachers meet with small groups weekly or monthly to teach the material. Student who pass the test receive a certificate and are invited to take the next course. The teachers are trained by our national organization.
community health program
Health instruction and visitation in several villages by community health worker.
TWR360 podcast
Our podcast is called Imaner Path, which means "The Way of Faith." Using vocabulary and style familiar to Muslims, Jesus is presented through readings of Luke, Matthew and John, followed by the book of Romans. https://www.twr360.org/ministry/91/page,1/book_id,

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Making reproducing disciples of Jesus among the Bengalis will enable the multiplication of the people with the kind of character and skill who can address the needs of this largest unreached people group of the world. We aim to establish the ministry in all 64 districts of Bangladesh (the eighth largest nation on earth).
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We are building an educational network of small group Bible studies and multi-level leadership development, capitalizing on the free time and interest young people have, that has the capability to multiply and spread through the whole country.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have designed a series of Bible study courses that enable interested individuals to discuss in a group setting what they have learned with the guidance of a trained facilitator. This system has found ready acceptance all over country with leaders of many different denominations and students from all the major religions. We have a tightly-knit team of 20 staff spread through the country led by a Bengali national director and regional directors. With a comprehensive system of accountability, the team locks out the endemic corruption and continually challenges one another in the spirit of Christ and His ministry. We also have unique methods for developing student leaders to participate in leadership.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
In 2012 we had 150 students in three districts with three staff members. In 2018 we had 2300 students in 22 districts with 17 staff members. Thus we are about 34% of the way to our goal of being in every district of the country. We have established a reproducible system of multi-level leadership and control. Locating good staff and continually training them is a high priority to ensure our health at every level of leadership and we are in the process of developing and formalizing that. We estimate that our funding needs will grow from $300,000 per year to $1,000,000 per year by 2024.. Last year we initiated a powerful prayer ministry linking supporters with the needs of the ministry on the ground.
