Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Tabby Tales is working with shelters to provide for the adoption of rescued cats into loving and responsible homes, assisting in the care and well-being of these homeless cats, and to educating the community on the need to spay/neuter and microchip pets, the prevention of animal cruelty, responsible pet ownership, and actively encouraging trap/neuter/release in our area.

Tabby Tales holds events to educate the public and to get cats adopted. Prior to adoption, cats are pulled from shelters and vetted and spayed/neutered. Foster families care for the cats until adoption.

Our group of dedicated volunteers and foster families work together with local shelters and veterinarians to achieve the goals of Tabby Tales.

We have had great success since our inception. In 2017 we saved 130 cats and kittens. We have developed a great relationship with our local shelters and have grown our donor and volunteer bases.

In 2018 we helped save 138 cats (including 24 orphaned kittens). Only 2 died in our care which were both genetically induced and therefore not preventable resulting in 136 saved lives. 113 of these were adoptions.

In 2019 we achieved 120 adoptions, 125 transports and sterilizations for 50 cats living in our community. We are expanding our transport program to make the most impact in terms of finding homes for as many cats as possible.
