Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our organizations goals all surround helping pets go home and stay home. We want to cultivate a community culture that deeply values pets no matter what form they take. We want to become the resource the our community can rely on for all their pet needs - adopting, reuniting, veterinary services, support services, and more.

To achieve these goals, we are planning to ramp up our educational resources and opportunities at every level of the community. We are building a community education program that will reach our whole community from the young school-aged pet lovers all the way to our senior community members.
We are also building a new facility with serving the community in mind. Previously, our facility was not built to be particularly inviting to the public - we are changing that. Our new facility is not only located directly in the center of the county we primarily serve, but it is also designed to be used by our community for more than just adopting.
We are also making changes to increase the vet services we are able to offer. These changes include adopting a different staffing model, expanding our veterinary services area in our new facility, and building partnerships with community rescues.
