The Community Table’s Mission is to serve balanced, nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming environment and to connect those in need with existing resources. We do this by engaging diverse volunteers in service and by fostering partnerships with local organizations. TCT also enlightens the public to issues of hunger in our community; and supports efforts of community agencies to increase the self-reliance of individuals and families.

What we aim to solve

The Community Table serves hot meals 365 days each year to those in Eau Claire needing food and hospitality. 67% of our guests are men, 33% are women. 48% of our guests are disabled, 11% are single parent households. 70% of our guests report eating here reduces their anxiety over food insecurity, and 88% report having extremely low income or no income. Our mission is to serve hot meals to those in need of food and hospitality; to enlighten the public to issues of hunger in our community; and to support efforts of community agencies to increase self-reliance of individuals and families. In addition to providing a well balanced and nutritious hot meal every day of the year, we also aim to promote new programs specifically directed towards programs in the schools and neighborhoods teaching children about nutrition and healthy eating, and starting programs for seniors.

The Community Table’s Mission is to serve balanced, nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming environment and to connect those in need with existing resources. We do this by engaging diverse volunteers in service and by fostering partnerships with local organizations. TCT also enlightens the public to issues of hunger in our community; and supports efforts of community agencies to increase the self-reliance of individuals and families.

We plan to expand programs in the schools, educate children on nutrition, and expand programs for senior citizens. Thank you for partnering with us to accomplish this goal as we encourage healthful eating and help to better improve the lives of the people in our community.

The Community Table Inc has a facility located at 320 Putnam St, Eau Claire, WI, where we serve up to 125 people a day. We have a dedicated staff, amazing volunteers, and work with some great donors to make this happen.

Over the past year, we have increased our focus on getting the word out about our mission. We have gone into the schools, been on the news, sent out informational mailings, participated in pop up pantries and sent home bags of food with students. We have more exciting events like these planned in the future to promote new programs specifically directed towards programs in the schools and neighborhoods teaching children about nutrition and healthy eating, and starting programs for seniors. Our goal to spur public interest in the mission of The Community Table. We plan to expand programs in the schools, educate children on nutrition, and expand programs for senior citizens. Thank you for partnering with us to accomplish this goal as we encourage healthful eating and help to better improve the lives of the people in our community.
