Minnetonka Center for the Arts
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Improvements to our facility to address the aging building along with changes to reflect the interests of students and changes in the art world.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Visual Arts Classes
Classes, workshops, lectures, and more, offered for people of all ages and abilities.
Summer Arts Camp
For ages 5-15, half and full day art classes taught by Artist-Instructors in a professional studio setting, targeted to age group skills and interests. Available June-August.
Outreach Programs
We work in partnership with other organizations to help bring the arts to underserved populations. People who have little to no access to the arts in our communities are those in the most need and may benefit the most.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Through a recent donation, we were able to address the immediate need to replace our roof, but many other building improvements loom. Along with changing interests and the need for expanding technology, the art center needs help to raise significantly more money than our annual campaign that currently helps us cover the costs of the day-to-day operations.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Formulating a strategic plan, and establishing a fundraising plan to support those goals (in process).
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We are in the process of finalizing our strategic plan, and how it will then affect our fundraising efforts for the next several years to help meet these goals.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
So far we have written, and will soon seek final board approval for a long-range strategic plan to address a series of issues affecting the art center.
