Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
MCBW provides training and technical assistance to battered women's programs, youth and children's programs, and other organizations throughout the state; and organizes at the statewide level to end domestic violence through legislative and public policy advocacy, systems change, media and public awareness advocacy, and through special projects. MCBW also provides crisis referrals for battered women and displays on a statewide and national basis the Clothesline Project, an art display of t-shirts which commemorates the women and children murdered in MN as a result of domestic violence and releases the annual Femicide Report, a report on the women and children murdered in Minnesota each year as a result of domestic violence.
