What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Kindness Retreat® / 4th or 5th graders
A high-energy day to give students tools to develop empathy and promote kindness.
Courage Retreat® / 7th or 8th graders
A day to inspire students to follow their hearts instead of the crowd, use moral courage and make responsible decisions despite their fears.
Respect Retreat® / 9th - 11th graders
A day for students to experience what school would be like if everyone was respected, and to challenge them to respect themselves and others.
Wisdom Retreat / 12th graders
A reflective day for seniors to gain healthy closure on their high school years together and be challenged to finish the year with respect and care.
Character Academy
Character Academy guides young adults through personal development work to help them become people of character and positive changemakers in the world. Participants will go through a series of workshops on topics designed to equip them with the character tools they need to navigate the sometimes challenging road of life.
Honor Retreat
A community-building experience that fosters relational trust by transforming school staff into a cohesive team that values and honors each other and the mission of their school.
Purpose Retreat
The Purpose Retreat gives educators time and space to rediscover the motivation that originally inspired them to enter the noble profession of education. Educators will remember and share defining moments in their careers and leave the retreat committed to following “their music” and giving the best of themselves to their students.
Elements of an Engaged Educator Series
Everybody knows that carbon (C), hydrogen (H), nitrogen (N) and oxygen (O) are basic elements — the building blocks of life. In this dynamic virtual series, we explore the building blocks of an engaged educator’s life: perspective (Pe), curiosity (Cu), compassion (Co), purpose (Ps) and gratitude (Gr). Whether educators attend a selection or all five workshops, they’ll get a chance to connect, reflect and learn how practicing these life-giving elements can support and sustain them in their important work with young people.
Parent Academy
In this interactive program, Joe Cavanaugh, Founder and CEO of Youth Frontiers, leverages his 30+ years of experience working with youth to share strategies for raising kids who are strong and responsible and who know they are precious, not perfect — three traits essential to their resiliency and readiness to navigate the often bumpy road of life.
Participants leave Parent Academy encouraged, equipped and challenged to do their part to ensure our next generation is grounded in character.
Geometry of a Leader Series
The Geometry of a Leader offers a much-needed retreat for character-driven leaders to step back, connect and reflect. Participants learn practical ways to be present to the people they serve, humble enough to solicit the wisdom of others and courageous enough to follow their vision despite the cost. They will leave the series inspired and empowered to confidently pursue their call to lead — and to make our community better for all.
