Our organization's vision is to assure access to basic necessities for all. As we work to provide access to basic necessities such as food and housing and through both direct service and coordinated collaboration as well as address both the overlaps and gaps in services, it is our believe that individuals in our community will have more efficient and effective access to resources as well as being served with dignity and respect and become empowered to achieve stability in their lives. As this capacity grows the focus of our organization can expand to addressing the root causes of poverty and crisis. A long-term organizational goal of Oasis Central Minnesota is to not only provide and coordinate access to resources but to strive to identify and address root causes of inequality, instability, and poverty in our community.

Oasis Central Minnesota will achieve its goals by both working to strengthen our organizations internal capacity and grow the reach of our programming; and also to collaborate with others in the community to that are doing related work.

Oasis Central Minnesota thrives as an organization because of the dedication of its volunteers and the community connections it has developed since 1989. Our programs are founded with the philosophy of building community by working together as neighbors. By continuing to grow our internal organizational capacity and also harnessing the power of the community connections we have built over the past 28 years, our organization has the capacity to be a catalyst for positive social change in Morrison County, Minnesota.

Oasis Central Minnesota has been able to provide increased access to basic necessities such as food and housing and through both direct service and coordinated collaboration in Morrison County. We are currently working to address both the overlaps and gaps in services, to provide individuals in our community with increased efficiency and effective access to these resources as well as being served with dignity and respect and empowering them to achieve stability in their lives. As this capacity grows the focus of our organization can expand to addressing the root causes of poverty and crisis. A long-term organizational goal of Oasis Central Minnesota is to not only provide and coordinate access to resources but to strive to identify and address root causes of inequality, instability, and poverty in our community. Once the immediate needs are effectively and efficiently met, our organization can expand to focus our energies, financial and non-financial resources, to this capacity.
