What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Anisninabe Wakiagun, the People's Home in the Ojibwe language. AICDC's first major project addressing the needs of the homeless, chronic alcoholic American Indians living on the streets of Minneapolis. Anishinabe Wakiagun is a 40-unit permanent housing residence for chronic alcoholics.

Kola, Street Outreach Project (friend in the Lakota language) is a companion project of Anishinabe Wakiagun whose mission is to reach those still on the streets and to improve their quality of life by meeting the basic needs, encouraging longer periods of sobriety with activities and reducing inappropriate usage of emergency medical rooms and Detox services. The Kola staff consists a full-time doctor, nurse/case manager and program director.

Housing Advocacy is working with landlords, other organizations, service providers and funding entities that will help to secure safe, decent affordable housing available to those at risk.

The Many Rivers Project is a new housing development in the Phillips Neighborhood of Minneapolis that provides 87 units of housing in a culturally sensitive environment.
