What we aim to solve
Haiti is an economically challenged country and has experienced many decades of inadequate basic human services such as education, healthcare, food, water and shelter. World Wide Village is working to help eliminate the chronic dependency thrust upon Haiti by well-intentioned foreigners. Our method is to engage communities to help themselves and to supply needed resources of education, training and skills, together with financial support.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The mission of World Wide Village is "to equip and support families and local churches of Haiti by creating sustainable communities through education, healthcare, housing, and agriculture while sharing the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ."
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategies for accomplishing this mission includes the following:
1) Including local Haitian leaders in spearheading initiatives for change.
2) Partnering with local Haitian pastors and building up the local church.
3) Laying the foundation for education which will help break the cycle of poverty in Haiti.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have a history of over 10 years of success in serving the Haitian people. We have fantastic Haitian leaders and staff and an amazing group of committed Americans willing to selflessly donate of their time and finances to support the work of WWV in Haiti. Continuing to create sustainability is crucial to the success of WWV in Haiti.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
WWV has had great success in growing our schools to provide more education to children in Haiti. Our schools are flourishing and the children in our schools have brighter futures.
WWV provided much emergency relief surrounding the devastating earthquake of 2010. WWV met many needs in the years following the earthquake, including food distribution, emergency medical care and helping to rebuild Haiti.
We are currently striving for ongoing medical care and vocational training in Williamson, Haiti. We are currently in the process of building and planning for these projects, with a strong vision for a permanent medical clinic and vocational school.
