SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Mending the Soul is a non-profit, privately funded organization with a global vision — to bring community-based restoration to people worldwide who have experienced abuse. We create wholistic healing models to educate and resource individuals, churches, and service organizations with sustainable trauma care materials contextualized for their specific communities. We believe that healing happens in community, and seek to create resources that foster safe, restorative relationships.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

To bring community-based restoration to people worldwide who have experienced abuse.

We continue to reach out our current donors while seeking more organizations and people to help us attain the goals and mission we have in reaching out domestically and globally. We are working on several new translations for our current curriculum while writing new curriculum.

We have over 17 years of successful experience reaching out to survivors of abuse. We have partners in several countries that assist us.

In 2020 we were able to:
- Equip leaders and organizations in approx. 15 countries
- Train approx. 2,000 African leaders in trauma care
- Complete 3 new African language translations of MTS healing workbooks
- Complete translations of 3 new Spanish healing materials
- Train over 200 Spanish speaking leaders in trauma care
- Provided food relief for approx. 10,000 East Africans, particularly widows,
orphans, and the elderly, who had no food due to the pandemic.

In 2021 our goal is:
1. Completion of a Native American trauma healing workbook.
2. Eight new translations of MTS resources in Spanish, Swahili, Luganda, Kinyarwanda, and possibly Russian.
3. Completion of Explore: A Guided Journey to Being Loved. This is a new shorter, more accessible watercolor
healing journal.
4. Expanding MTS ministry into at least two new regions in Africa and Asia.
5. Convert at least six of our books/ workbooks into eBooks and downloadable printable books which can be
available to anyone with a computer anywhere in the world.
