Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
1. To identify members of the IDF who need personal care items
2. To supply these items to IDF soldiers-in-need
3. To educate US citizens about the needs of the IDF soldiers-in-need
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
1. We collect money in the US
2. We negotiate with vendors in Israel to buy goods at a discounted rate
3. We package items in Israel for delivery to members of the IDF in need
4. We use volunteers to collect donations, negotiate with vendors, package items, and distribute packages to IDF personnel
5. We sponsor movies and talks to educate US citizens about the IDF.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
By relying exclusively upon volunteers,we can use 99% of our donations to directly aid IDF members in need.In the US, we collect donations to buy items. We maintain donor lists and apply for grants. In Israel, we select homes that shelter soldiers in need. Our Israeli volunteers package and deliver items directly to IDF members so that we know who receives our gifts. We contact former IDF soldiers in the US to speak to the community, and we watch for movies about Israel in order to educate the public.
