Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Adult & Senior Health
Adult Medicine provides primary and preventive care for patients aged 18 years and older. Medical services are offered at the Downtown Campus, Cabot Westside Medical & Dental Practice, and Clay County Family Medicine. Care provided includes urgent medical care, health screenings, physical exams, HIV testing and counseling, internal medicine, diagnostic testing and screening, chronic disease management, and immunizations.
Children's & Adolescents' Health
Children's and Adolescents' care is offered at the Downtown Campus, Clay County Family Medicine, and Cabot Westside Medical & Dental Practice. In addition, a new practice, Northland Family Medicine, offers obstetrical and pediatric care to mothers and children. Children aged 0-17 receive check ups, immunizations, diagnostic testing, developmental screenings, treatment of childhood illnesses and urgent medical care.
Women's Health
OB/GYN services are offered at the Downtown Campus, and at Cabot Westside Medical & Dental Practice. In addition, a new practice, Northland Family Medicine, offers obstetrical and pediatric care to mothers and children. Patients seen in Women's Health receive routine well-woman exams, family planning, urgent medical care, pre/post natal care, breast and cervical cancer education and screening, preventive screenings with follow-up and referral, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections.
Dental Services
The Health Center provides a wide scope of dental services at sites in Jackson and Clay counties in Missouri. These include our Downtown Campus at 825 Euclid, Cabot Westside Medical & Dental Practice at 2121 Summit, both in Kansas City. We also provide dental services at our Clay County Family Medicine & Dental Services, 800 Haines Drive, Liberty. Dental services include preventive, nutritional, urgent dental care, and pediatric dentistry. One of our dental practices is located in an elementary school located in a low-income community. It provides access to young children so they can obtain dental care during school hours.
Behavioral Health
Timely and accessible behavioral health services can prevent individuals with mild depression or anxiety from spiraling down to suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, unchecked anger, risky behaviors, and perhaps homicide or suicide. We have psychiatrists and licensed counselors on staff. Behavioral Health Services are available our Downtown Campus at 825 Euclid, and our Cabot Westside Medical & Dental Practice at 2121 Summit, both in Kansas City.

- We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
