Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Habitat Homeownership Program
A partner homebuyer purchases their home for the cost of materials using a Habitat 0% interest (0% APR) loan. To partner with Habitat for Humanity, homebuyers must qualify in three regards: 1) Need for a safer home, 2) Willingness to Partner and complete Sweat Equity hours, 3) Ability to repay their mortgage. All homeowners must provide income verification and fall within 30-80% of the Area Median Income by HUD guidelines. The partner homebuyer undergoes a credit review, background check and a home visit to be accepted into the program.

Neighborhood Revitalization
Neighborhood Revitalization (NR) is a collaborative approach to improve the quality of life for all residents in a neighborhood. Focus areas include: health, education, amenities, economic opportunities, transportation, beautification, community, housing, health, and safety. NR is accomplished by creating partnerships with area businesses, government, residents, and other nonprofits who share a vision of revitalization.
While new home construction and home repairs remain at the core of what we do, we cannot transform neighborhoods through construction alone. Through NR, we can make a greater impact within a neighborhood and meet resident goals and aspirations. Ultimately improving the quality of life, for not only residents of these neighborhoods, but for the city as a whole.
ReStore
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials, and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. The proceeds help fund our home buying and repair programs.
