Mission

Christian Adoption Services (CAS) is a Christian agency whose mission is to display God's love to children, birth parents, and families by providing Christ-centered adoption services that have an eternal impact by growing forever families.

CAS is licensed to place children in North Dakota and Minnesota, but can also work with families or birth parents outside of the two-state region if they are looking to place within ND or MN or are seeking birth parent services for an identified adoption through an interstate compact.

Notes from the nonprofit

We believe that every life is precious and unrepeatable. When birth parents choose to place their child for adoption, their loving sacrifice can be an answer to prayer for a couple wanting to build their family through adoption. CFLS is committed to providing quality services both for families considering adopting and expectant parents exploring their options, seeking non-judgmental education & support.

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Adoption is a Choice

This program was established to teach students & the general public about adoption as a 3rd option to an unplanned pregnancy. Our hope is to break down negative perspectives concerning adoption and create a community of understanding and support for the women who choose to create an adoption plan for their child. We will teach classes to inform the community about adoption, what women experience during the decision making process, society pressures they may feel, positive adoption language and how the adoptee adjusts as he/she grows up. Caseworkers would speak to medical staff at local clinics & hospitals, students & teachers at high schools & colleges, community organizations, churches & more. By educating the community as a whole about adoption, expectant mothers will hopefully feel less pressured into a particular decision. Adoption educational materials would be included and a survey from each attendee would be gathered.
