The Bloomington Community Band exists:
-to contribute positively to the musical literacy and musical environment of the community it serves, whether local or otherwise,
-to provide opportunity and training for individual musical expression and growth among the membership,
-to reaffirm the community concert band position in American music.

McCormick's Creek State Park Concert

An annual concert that occurs in a nearby state park with free admission.

We traditionally play one or two concerts each season at both Redbud Hills and Bell Trace Retirement Communities, including one for the winter holidays. These are among our most gratifying performances.
