Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Paid Internships

Young people served by our partners Covenant House, YouthBuild Philly Charter School, Valley Youth House and CB Community School work 20-25 hours a week learning valuable work skills while providing extra care and attention to animals waiting for homes. The youth split their time between our facility at 315 Market Street and Philadelphia area animal shelters. They learn all of the care necessary to care responsibly for animals and what resources are available to community members who find themselves struggling to provide that care. They engage in community outreach to keep pets safe with their families and adopt homeless animals to new loving homes.
