Athletic Trainer Services

PlaySafe places certified athletic trainers in high schools on a full-time basis. Certified athletic trainers are experts in injury prevention, assessment, and care. There are more than 2 million injuries each year in high school athletics with 62% occurring during practice. 23% of the injuries involve the head and face of the athlete. Often times misdiagnosis, incorrect treatment or lack thereof can lead to serious injury or death.

Our ultimate goal is the have at least one full time athletic trainer at each of the high schools in our current service area. To sustain and grow our service area so that no child participating in sports goes without the protection, supervision and services of a sports medicine professional.
