Mission
The Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County advances the vision of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County through philanthropic endeavors. The Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County raises funds to support the Forest Preserve District to help protect and restore natural areas, promote biodiversity, rehabilitate injured or sick wildlife, and provide nature-based opportunities for people in perpetuity.

The Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County supports the restoration of habitats including prairies, woodlands and wetlands in county forest preserves.
Education
The Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County supports Danada Equestrian Center, Fullersburg Woods Nature Education Center, Kline Creek Farm, Mayslake Peabody Estate, St. James Farm and Willowbrook Wildlife Center.
Recreation
The Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County supports 166 miles of trails in DuPage forest preserves for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, observing wildlife, and more.
Master Plan Initiatives
Friends of the Forest Preserve District supports master plan initiatives, including habitat restoration, building renewal, and capital improvements.
