Mission

Bichon Rescue Brigade (BRB) is an all-volunteer group whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place Bichon Frise and Bichon Frise mixed dogs into responsible and caring homes – as well as providing a resource for public education on the breed and responsible dog ownership. We focus on special needs, last chance animals who have little chance of being adopted by the general public and provide the medical care needed for them to be adopted into their forever homes.

Notes from the nonprofit

Bichon Rescue Brigade (BRB) is an all-volunteer group whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place Bichon Frise and Bichon Frise mixed dogs into responsible and caring homes – as well as providing a resource for public education on the breed and responsible dog ownership. We are located in Southern California and focus our efforts on dogs in need in our area. BRB advocates for Bichon Frises and their friends who have been lost or abandoned, or whose owners could no longer care for them. All BRB pups are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered. We are a foster-based rescue, and our pups are placed into loving foster homes while we find their perfect forever family. Each dog’s overall health and activity level is evaluated, as it is important that we place healthy dogs into happy homes. We strive to match each dog with its “forever” home, based on the mutual needs of each dog and its prospective adopter, who must complete an Application and pass a Home Safety check.
