Mission

Brides Across America plays a role in making military and first responder brides dreams come true by gifting them a free designer wedding gown during a Brides Across America’s Operation Wedding Gown Event. Due to deployment, financial hardship, and other challenges unique to servicemen and women, military and first responder brides can find it difficult to plan a wedding. Brides Across America is connecting with bridal salons across the nation to help spread the love to our heroes. Founded by Heidi Janson in 2008, Heidi was inspired to do something special to express gratitude to the dedicated service men and women.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Brides Across America continues to help more military couples in need and expanding to first res ponders.
Brides Across America continues to support wounded warriors, post-traumatic stress, and employment for veterans.
We are an organization about supporting our heroes through community awareness and leading social responsibility.

Our mission is to hold events twice a year so military brides can go to their local bridal salon and select a wedding gown for free. This is our way to show our support and say thank you.
BAA will be partnering with non profits to gift 3-6 weddings a year through building local and national support.
BAA will build community awareness by volunteering at local events and fundraising to support our veterans.

BAA will be partnering with Weddings for Warriors to help those military don't have the funds for a wedding; gifting 5 weddings each Nov.
BAA will be working with other vendors to fund raise and support our mission through various platforms such as online giving, charitable road races and local community events.
BAA will strive to increase its awareness and gift more free wedding gowns to our service men and women by increasing events and gaining more brand recognition.

Fundraising and sponsorship we seem to lack on because of our short staffing. We are hoping to add more medical need base funding to support those vets that need assistance in this area.
