Mission

Our mission is to assist in sustaining the tradition of theatre while contributing to the lives of local artists, and to enrich the community by encouraging people of all ages to participate in the arts. Woodlawn Theatre, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to creating opportunities for its surrounding community by providing quality, entertaining, educational, and affordable programming for all ages. Our mission is to assist in sustaining the tradition of theatre while contributing to the lives of local artists, and to enrich the community by encouraging people of all ages to participate in the arts.

The Woodlawn Theatre and it's Academy enhance the social capital of the San Antonio community be developing the talents, community spirit, and artistic sensibilities of all who participate.

Woodlawn Main Stage Theatre

Current Programming consists of:
6 main stage musicals all of which will feature 12 performances with the exception of the holiday and summer productions which will feature 15 performances.

4 youth productions with 3 to 9 peformances each
18 to 20 Leg Up Class are offered weekly through the Woodlawn Academy for the Performing Arts for intro to advanced in acting, vocals, and dance
Adult Dance Classes series that is offered in a 4 class package or on a drop in basis. Currently jazz and tap classes are available and have been wildly popular.
7 Summer camp Offerings which will include- happily ever after, broadway bound, show camp, make up camp, tech camp x 2, and a musical theatre boot camp, as well as customized camp offerings for sister non profits
Performance Outreach Program which brings the Academy's Musical Theatre Educational excellence out into the community.
Academy Youth Fun Nights allow academy youth to strengthen friendships while having fun off the stage and include movie nights, karoke nights, as well as other themed nights.
