What we aim to solve
To provide clothes and a weekly breakfast to the homeless of Colorado Springs.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
More Than A Meal, Inc.
We are a mobile ministry that provides a hot breakfast and clothing every Saturday morning all year long at a Legacy Wesleyan Church. We are supported by churches, businesses, and individual supporters. We are also made up of different volunteers some who are there every week and some who are only able to come and help once a year. There are churches, ministries, and private donors that buy and bring the food for the Saturday morning breakfast in the park. We use the donations that we receive to purchase clothes, toiletries, gas, propane, Sterno, and provide van maintenance.
Saturday Morning Breakfast
Every Saturday morning we meet at 7:30 a.m. to serve breakfast and pass out clothing and toiletries. More Than A Meal, Inc., serves citizens who are at or below the poverty level and/or homeless. Our budget estimated in weekly terms.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are working to continue feeding and clothing those who are homeless. We are looking to be more effective finding housing and other social services for those who are living on the street. We are working to reduce the amount of homeless in Colorado Springs, Co.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Currently, we are able to continue our Saturday morning breakfast and distribute clothing because of the support we receive. With more support we are better able to help others who are in need. With more funding we will be able to provide better transport of the food and clothing to the park. Additionally, future plans to get housing arranged is a large effort that we hope to work toward.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have been donated a van that works, starts, and is safe to drive. We house the grills, generator, tables, chafing dishes, utensils, speakers, spices, plates and napkins, and other items to provide the breakfast. We have been successful getting the volunteers that are needed to run this mission. We have a personal van that is being use to transport the clothes and that has been working since 2013. We are blessed that we have been able to continue this work since 2010. We pray that we will be able to increase our capabilities to reduce homelessness in Colorado Springs, CO.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
If our organization is able to continue to provide food and clothes in the manner the we have been since 2010 then we are proceeding in a positive direction. If we are able to grow financially we will increase in our ability to provide housing solutions to the homeless.
