STARelief and Pet Assistance mission is to provide life-saving veterinary care, temporary homes, food and emergency shelter to pets whose caretakers are struggling with financial hardship. With the goal of keeping pets out of shelters and in their homes

STARelief Pet Food Pantry

To ensure that no pet goes hungry, the pantry provides free dog and cat food to anyone in financial crisis.

Our Home For LIfe gants provides financial assistance grants and resources to pet owners who are unable to pay for routine and emergency veterinary care, emergency shelter and hospice care for their animals.

STARescue will reimburse the adoption fee to any current or ex military member and their families when you adopt a pet from the Stamford Animal Shelter in Stamford, CT

No pet owner should have to abandon their pet in a crisis. STARelief’s Safe Place for Pets program provides free safe and temporary foster care to pets of the homeless, victims of domestic violence, and people suffering an illness. With the goal of keeping pets and their people together.
