Panther City Feral Cat Coalition

FORT WORTH, TX   |  www.fortworthferal.org

Mission

To prevent the birth of unwanted feral kittens by humanely trapping, sterilizing, vaccinating and releasing to their home grounds ferals. To advocate and educate for feral cats and to assist the public in matters concerning feral cats.

Notes from the nonprofit

Our organization is staffed completely by volunteers, and we believe we speak for and protect the feral cats of greater Fort Worth. We practice TNVR, fostering and supplying food to colony feeders who cannot afford otherwise. Most of our expenditures are for spay/neuter, vet charges for injured or ill cats and cat food. Most of our funds are donated by individuals. We also receive a grant from North Texas Community Foundation.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Trap/neuter/vaccinate/release feral cats.

PCFCC performs TNVR for feral cats throughout Fort Worth through volunteers. These volunteers also advocate and educate for feral cats in Fort Worth and the surrounding area. We also have stretched our mission to help with the care and adoption of kittens who are an unintended product of TNVR or rather when TNVR is not practiced.
