Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
The Ability Outreach Program
As ScentsAbility Candles has grown, so has our desire to outreach to the community. We firmly believe that our services and products carry a message worth multiplying and that is what has given birth to the Ability Outreach Program (AOP).
The goal of the AOP is to bring ScentsAbility Candles to the community to provide:
o I/DD Awareness
o Vocational Experiences to those with exceptionalities
o Candle making Fun
o Team Building events (Parties that make Scents)
o Awareness of The IDDeal Foundation
o Organizational funding options
Through the AOP businesses and organizations in the community can engage in the joys of candle making alongside our expert artisans exposing its customers, clients, and workers to the benefits of inclusive employment and in so doing contribute to the larger IDDeal mission.
There are three types of services available to the community through this program:
1. The Community Outreach Program
2. The Business Engagement Initiative
3. Corporate Team Building
