Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We aim to positively change society's perception of the American Pit Bull Terrier and other bully breeds by setting rescued and rehabilitated dogs up for success with adoptive families, as well as providing community out each locally to help pet owners and stray pets. We lead change with positive example and education.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We deliver community outreach and education where the problem originates. We also offer the public low-cost spay/neuter programs and free training opportunities.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have utilized and continue to utilize multiple media outlets to educate on bully breeds, including but not limited to local news stations. We have maintained strong community support since our inception due to our high level of responsibility, knowledge, quality care, and professionalism as a dog rescue.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have saved lives and adopted out hundreds of dogs per year very responsibly, maintaining a return rate under 10%. The dogs we have rescued and rehabilitated have been transformed into well-behaved family dogs, positively impacting the image of bully breeds and reducing the number of dogs euthanized in shelters.
