What we aim to solve
Mercy Without Limits (MWL) strives to meet the needs of neglected and underserved communities so that future generations may have the tools they need to create meaningful change in their own lives. Working with partners around the world, we empower communities to recover, build resiliency, and thrive in the face of unfortunate circumstances.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Protection
Ensuring people protection is an essential part of MWL
mission. Three types of interventions have been adopted
in MWL to provide these valuable services (Cash for
Protection – Child Protection – Mine Action).
Shelter
Shelter is one of the basic necessities of daily life;
it gives families privacy and comfort; and provides
security, shielding them from the outside elements.
People worldwide who have been displaced and lost
their homes due to tragedy and disaster have found
themselves without adequate shelter. MWL provides
tents and living quarters to Rohingya Refugees in
Bangladesh. Shelters were implemented to expand
shelter capacity and improve living conditions to help
facilitate survival.
Education
During the Covid-19 pandemic, dropout rates have
increased due to sickness, conflict and poverty;
as well as loss of wealth and family. MWL works
towards solving the global education crisis by
implementing a variety of education projects,
meeting the vast demands of basic educational
needs, such as learning kits, rehabilitation schools,
teachers’ incentives, etc. Accelerated learning
programs have also been made available as an
option to disadvantaged children to provide them
with equivalent educational standards to match
their age. Children with special needs were served
in all projects, maintaining equal opportunity for all
children to learn.
Food Security
Families around the world suffer from hunger and a lack of
adequate nutrition. Mercy Without Limits is aware of the
struggles people are facing with food scarcity, and we partner
with other NGOs to implement agriculture and livelihood
services in an effort to provide sustainable nourishment to
those facing food scarcity. With the aid from provided funds,
MWL is able to distribute food baskets, Ramadan hot meals,
and additional food resources. The projects implemented aim
at providing sustainable nourishment to those facing food
scarcity by improving economic circumstances and depleting
the inflation rate.
Health
Mercy Without Limits has participated extensively in providing health care services to people affected in a variety of countries worldwide, including annual checkups and surgical procedures
Early Recovery & Livelihood
At Mercy Without Limits, we strongly believe in doing our best to
equip women and youth with resources that would enable them
to be successful in their communities. Every year, MWL takes part
in projects that help these groups develop financial independence.
Training sessions that teach them life skills to launch their own
small businesses were provided throughout the year
WASH
MWL was grateful to take part in constructing water wells and orchestrating projects that enabled access to safe water and sanitation in several countries.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
MWL provides individuals with a platform of adequate support to prosper within their communities and improve their living conditions. With several branches in Syria, Turkey, Jordan, Iraq, Sierra Leone and Ghana, we provide basic needs through capacity building, protection, education, empowerment, rehabilitation programs, psychological support, livelihood, family counseling and food security projects. Mercy Without Limits works to recruit grants and donation funds provided by international organizations, charitable communities and individual contributors for development projects.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Since its establishment in 2012, MWL has been dedicated to addressing humanitarian needs for orphans, widows, and refugees regardless of age, gender, race, or religion. MWL initially specialized in aiding Syrian orphans and widows. However, as the demand for humanitarian relief has increased, we have expanded as a direct response organization to assist those most in need.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
MWL is made up of a community of humanitarians—staff, volunteers, affiliates, supporters, partners, and donors—who have been working together for a better world for 10+ years.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
MWL has worked with many organizations over the years, formed strong alliances, and achieved great milestones, including partnering with OCHA, IOM, UNICIF, War Child, GIZ and more. MWL has grown to provide service in over 10 countries around the world, and intends to continue widening its services.

Equity strategies
Last updated: 02/18/2023GuideStar partnered with Equity in the Center - an organization that works to shift mindsets, practices, and systems to increase racial equity - to create this section. Learn more
- We review compensation data across the organization (and by staff levels) to identify disparities by race.
- We ask team members to identify racial disparities in their programs and / or portfolios.
- We analyze disaggregated data and root causes of race disparities that impact the organization's programs, portfolios, and the populations served.
- We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
- We employ non-traditional ways of gathering feedback on programs and trainings, which may include interviews, roundtables, and external reviews with/by community stakeholders.
- We disaggregate data by demographics, including race, in every policy and program measured.
- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We use a vetting process to identify vendors and partners that share our commitment to race equity.
- We have a promotion process that anticipates and mitigates implicit and explicit biases about people of color serving in leadership positions.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
- We measure and then disaggregate job satisfaction and retention data by race, function, level, and/or team.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
