Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

1) Prevent animal overpopulation in our community thus reducing the euthanasia rate at our local shelters and reducing the taxpayer costs associated with dealing with these animals.
2) Providing financial assistance for urgent medical care for animals in our community so they do not needlessly suffer.

Work with local veterinarians so we are provided discounted veterinary services in order to be able to help more animals.

Enhance volunteer recruiting to continue to help get those needing assistance in a timely manner.

Currently we have 10 veterinarians we primarily use and provide us discounts. We have volunteers focused on growing this number in areas where our medical requests are the highest.

We recruit for volunteers on VolunteerMatch.org and at Outreach events in the community informing others on our mission and goals.

In the first 3 years of organizational existence we have helped 1245 animals and that number continues to grow each year. We know we are making a difference in the lives of those animals helped.

  • We disaggregate data by demographics, including race, in every policy and program measured.
Policies and processes
  • We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
