THE AUSTRALIAN COMMUNITY
Connecting Australians Living in America
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Every year, the United States offers thousands of Australian citizens a professional non-immigrant E-3 visa and Green Cards, to live and work in the U.S.. However the U.S. Government does not provide any educational services to understand the differences in the Legal, Tax, Financial and reporting requirements for these expat taxpayers. Our Organization exists to assist these disadvantaged U.S. taxpayers, by providing ethical services and connections to professional advice. In addition, The Australian Community hosts social, professional and charitable events to foster good will between Australian and U.S. citizens.

What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
In twelve years we have grown to be the largest nonprofit organization by Australian expat reach in North America.
We were the first organization to set up and run a successful Job Fair for Australian expats.
We were the first Australian nonprofit organization to host an annual commemoration
for the 10 Australians who perished at Ground Zero.
We are the first Australian Ex-Pat organization to deploy an ethical, AI Model specifically targeting Australian expats living in the US.
What we need to accomplish:
We are one of the smallest Australian nonprofit organizations by revenue. Our revenues need to grow to fully execute all of our existing programs and to implement planned programs.
Our Capability Maturity scores have grown to 3.0/5.0 for some processes and 3.5/5.0 for the balance. Our Goal is 4.0/5.0 for all processes.
We do not have a full-time employee, and we need to be able to afford to pay a reasonable salary to focus our efforts on our Mission.
