Mission

The foundation of S.P.E.A.K. focuses on providing educational information and activities that encourage youth to become responsible, productive citizens, empowering them with the courage to speak out on issues that affect their lives and the communities where they live. With each letter of the word S.P.E.A.K, our efforts will encourage children to stay in school and understand that education is essential for their future. In order to achieve this, we must first help them to think positively and provide them the skills and guidance to achieve a successful life. We believe that Staying Positive Equals Amazing Kids.

Golden Ticket Incentive Program

The S.P.E.A.K organization is currently working with local businesses in our area to develop reward incentives for the students. This incentive program is one of S.P.E.A.K.’s long term projects called the “GOLDEN TICKET” program. It was created to reward students for their outstanding achievements in school. Once a month two students, who have demonstrated strong positive rewarding behavior, are selected by their classroom teacher to receive the "Golden Ticket" in conjunction with a Certificate of Achievement. Students who are chosen receive a range of prizes including
Gamestop Gift Card, A Free lunch or dinner at a restaurant or a trip to AnBrea’s Beauty Salon. These prizes were designed for children and their parent in hopes to strengthen the bond between them both..
