LSS provides individual, marriageand family counseling to help people effectively work through their problems, strive for emotional health and strengthen their lives.  Highly skilled professional counselors provide a safe, confidential, nurturing environment in which clients learn and grow.  LSS also provides educational seminars for the public and Employee Assistance Programs in the workplace.

LSS provides a variety of services for children and youth, including residential treatment and group care centers, school-based mentoring, child care, and foster care.

Serving birth parents and adoptive parents, these services allow infants and children who need homes to join loving, welcoming families.  LSS provides open adoptions as well as domestic and international adoptions.

At the request of the U.S. government, LSS resettles refugees who have been forced to leave their home countries because of religious or political persecution.  Working with commnity support, LSS helps refugees and immigrants make a successful transition to a new culture and become contributing members of our communities.
