OyP’s mission is to support selected, effective, Montana based programs dedicated to helping people in need of assistance enlarge their competencies and capacities GUIDELINES THESE GUIDELINES GOVERN HOW OyP DOES ITS WORK: 1. By “effective” OyP means programs that are (a) governed by a well defined mission, and (b) regularly evaluated to determine whether the program’s activities achieve its mission; 2. While not all program results can be accurately measured, all programs supported by OyP must show deep concern for their effectiveness; 3. OyP favors programs that are primarily supported by the private sector rather than by government revenues; 4. OyP will not fund endowments or capital campaigns; 5. OyP prefers not to fund historical societies, art centers, general hospitals, theaters,
