Mission

Carrie Morris Arts Production (CMAP) provides a forum for contemporary puppetry, multimedia performance and artistic exploration in Detroit. Incorporated in 2012, we have been working in the city of Detroit since 2004. Our mission is to create and support new works, and to present the highest quality shows for the people of Detroit and Hamtramck in a way that is inclusive, intimate and community-centered. We strive to provide access to the performing arts across economic and cultural divides while expanding the public’s understanding of what performance can be.
