Our Goal: To assist students currently attending The University of South Carolina. Students who suffer a traumatic or life changing event can reach out to The Gamecock Foundation and request assistance with something in their life. The Gamecock Foundation does not give direct monetary/cash assistance. If a student is awarded financial aid/funding it will be dispersed in the form of tangible goods, direct check payment to vendor, and/or gift card/restricted EFT.

To reach our goal of helping students and alumni of the University of South Carolina we will employ many strategies. Our main strategy will be to solicit donations from the community as well as local and national businesses. We will also on occasion hold raffles and special events to raise money.

We have the capacity to make a real difference with the community because of our connections with the local community, current students, former students, and business owners in the Columbia area.

We have accomplished getting ourselves off the ground, getting certified with the right professional authorities, and creating a brand. We have not yet accomplished our funding goals as we are a newer charity and are building things from the ground up. We anticipate growing exponentially in the coming months/years.
