Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

To provide loving care to English Bulldogs that are no longer wanted, abandoned or in medical distress and rehabilitate and rehome the dogs in qualified adoptive homes. To assist current owners of English Bulldogs with advice and resources for training and medical care appropriate for English Bulldogs

We operate a 1-800 telephone line to enable shelters, families and vets and others who have an English Bulldog needing our services quick access to help. We also have monthly meet-up groups where we reach out to other bulldog owners to provide play group opportunities and access to bulldog specific trainers. We also run bulldog specific training classes 2 or 3 times a year. We also have information booths at many pet events thru the year to reach out to members of the public that may be interested in adopting a bulldog.

In 2013, AdoptaBull English Bulldog Rescue adopted out 22 English Bulldogs in 2013 and 11 more thru June 2014. Many of these dogs came into us requiring extensive medical care including orthopedic, dental, and eye surgeries along with the normal spay and neuter surgeries. We also needed to do behavioral rehabilitation on 4 of the dogs which required specialized training and significant time spent by volunteers to help these dogs become adoptable. We also maintained a busy schedule of outreach events throughout the year at major Pet festivals and events in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin.
