Mission

All ‘Bout Cats, Inc. is a no-kill, all-volunteer cat rescue created to save and care for homeless and abandoned cats. Our Cat Adoption Team promotes a better life for these cats by in-home fostering and socializing. We serve as a resource to our community and all cat owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter. Our goal is to work with shelters, humane organizations, and other rescue organizations to build a network of animal organizations to reduce over-population in our community.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Education Outreach

We speak within our community and local schools to adults and children of all age to provide education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter.

We also educate those in economically challenged households on the programs available to them in our community to assist in taking care of their cats.

Population(s) Served

The Older Cats for Older Laps (OC4OL) program focuses on seniors . We visit senior communities that allow cats and market our adoptable senior cats. We survey the seniors interested to find the right match for them. It has been proven that older people who have pets have reduced blood pressure, lower cholesterol and overall live longer due to the companionship.

Population(s) Served

Our Sponsor-a-Cat program allows a potential sponsor to donate $25 to a particular cat and receive photos and biography on the cat with updated e-mails on the cats’ progress.
