What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
New library at Magdalene College
A significant enhancement to the College estate, the goal is to build a high-quality, durable, and environmentally sustainable building that will significantly enhance the College's facilities. The new building floor area will offer three times more space than in the current College Library, and a new Archive Centre will provide space for the College's collection of archival documents and will include a work room for students, researchers, and historic archivists.
Pepys Library at Magdalene College
This project involves the restoration and reconfiguration of the ground floor of the Grade I listed Pepys Building. The newly available space will offer great opportunities to the College, and the scope of the project will be developed in detail once the build of the new College Library is underway.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The organization was formed by a group of people who studied at Magdalene College in the University of Cambridge who wish to help as many students as possible have access to the type and quality of education that they received at that university.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The Magdalene College Foundation considers programs that fulfill its mission. These could include the creation and implementation of a teaching program, funding research or publications that will have wide distribution, or outreach programs to support students. The Foundation is interested in Magdalene College because its programs are unique and highly regarded, but it is not limited to funding any such programs nor is it obligated to do so.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The Magdalene College Foundation is managed and controlled by an independent Board of Directors. The Board meets in person or by teleconference at least three times per year. The Board undertakes due diligence to ensure that funds will be used as specified under the terms of each grant.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
To date, the Magdalene College Foundation has made grants to Magdalene College in the University of Cambridge totaling over $7.1 million. These grants have supported student bursaries and scholarships, libraries, fellowships, teaching, research, and other educational projects.
