Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
To provide disabled individuals with specialized equipment needed to be able to participate in outdoor recreational activities and to assist in becoming employed to improve daily living along with handicap accessible improvements at little to no cost.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
To be recognized in the community as a resource for the disabled by email campaigns, fundraising, social media and website. Gaining momentum from the surrounding community to achieve our goals by both volunteering and monetary contributions. Becoming involved in the rehabilitation community to further awareness of our specialty.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
By being organized and detail oriented along with passion for our mission. A knowledge base of individuals with disabilities.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have been able to successfully employ one individual along with several hunts and fishing events. We have had multiple vehicles modified with lifts, etc. There have been many wheelchair ramps and slings provided at little to no cost. We completed a bathroom modification in a modular home. We have also provided 3 handicapped equipped vehicles in which the disabled individual can drive themselves. More hunts are being organized now for turkey and deer along with fishing events. We are always accepting applications to assist the disabled in equipment or modifications to enrich lives.
