What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Providing Leadership through Awareness to Youths (PLAY)

FDWO believes not enough emphasis is placed on prevention of two of the most long-term traumatic experiences plaguing our communities. Child sexual abuse and human trafficking; two traumatic effects creating root causes of illegal substance use and incarceration as children becomes adults. The program aimed at diverting youths from the criminal justice system educates youths ages 8-14 about danger signs of Human Trafficking, child sexual abuse and its relation to substance abuse, how to create safe spaces, how the environment contributes to safer neighborhoods and engage in Arts-Poetic expression to help build strong self-esteem. The program will ensure added value to the resident of Broward County
