Celebrate survivorship
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
We aim to eradicate disparities in the treatment outcomes for breast cancer. We aim to support young women and women of color as they transition through survivorship.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
LIbido Mojo Workshop
Kicked It In Heels recently hosted a Libido and Mojo Workshop that explored sexuality, intimacy, body image, and libido after breast cancer. The event consisted of a panel of experts including: Dr. Jeanne Carter, head of the Female Sexual Medicine and Women’s Health program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; Elizabeth Yuko, Health and Sex Editor at SheKnows; and Dr. Alice Police, regional director of Breast Surgery at Northwell Health.
Yoga Wellness Workshop
An essential part of survivorship is maintaining healthy habits, and exercise is one of them. We encouraged our survivors to find their inner yogis and enjoy our yoga workshop at Exhale Spa.
