Mission

Our mission is to provide families living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis with compassionate and enduring support services that help them overcome the adversities of the disease and access richer, fuller, and more meaningful lives. We envision a future where all families living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis are able to readily access the support they need in order to effectively navigate the various physical, medical, psychological, financial, and emotional complexities that accompany diagnosis.

Flex Grant Program

The Flex Grant Program offers financial support through reimbursements to help cover the costs of respite care, adaptive devices not covered by medical insurance, certain medical expenses and equipment, as well as home modifications.

Eligible applicants include all residents of Connecticut, Massachsetts, and Rhode Island who are homebound and have a definitive diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Grants will be awarded biannually and based, in part, on the availability of funds. First time applicants, as well as those exhibiting dire and/or debilitating personal, psychological, familial, medical, or financial circumstances may be given priority.
